Short note on macro nutrients.

Macronutrients are nutrients required in large amounts. The main function of macronutrients is to provide energy, counted as calories. There are three broad classes of macro-nutrients: proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.
In case of plants, the essential elements utilised by plants in relatively large quantities are called macronutrients. These include nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulphur.
