SF6 is known nt SCi6.why?

Expert Answer:
Due to small size of Sulphur atom,six large Cl atoms cannot be accomodated around S atom.But six small F atom atoms can be easily accomodated around sulphur atom to form SF6. Hence SF6 is easily formed but not SCl6.
