No, the centripetal force is a real force that keeps the object moving along a circular path.

The centrifugal force is called a pseudo force because it is present in a non-inertial frame of reference or an accelerated frame of reference. Their origin is not due to their interaction with other bodies.

The application of this pseudo force allows us to apply Newton's laws of motion in its usual form.
