respected sir/madam,
i have a doutb that when we add potassium permanganate to water,it turns pinkish which shows that particles of matter are in motion then when we add sugar in water it doesnt appear to be moving at all?

Yes you are right. when we add potassium permanganate to water,it turns pinkish which shows that the particles of matter are in motion. When we add sugar in water it doesnt appear to be moving at all; this is because sugar particles are colourless. This is the reason why we cannot see sugar particles in the motion.
