If three resistance of 2 Ω are connected in series in one branch, then the resistance of each branch = 2+2+2 = 6Ω.

4 similar sets are connected in parallel. Hence the net resistance R' is given as

1/R' = 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 + 1/6 = 4/6

R' = 6/4 = 3/2 = 1.5Ω
