resistance

Expert Answer:

actually u have some conceptual errors.
current in a metal wire means flow of  free electrons.when we create a potential difference, then these free electrons start flolwing.
there is only intermolecular spaces through which the free electrons have to move through in order to move. so the flow of these electrons is zig zag motion.the resistance to the flow of current is offered due to the presencev of thje atoms molecules present in the substances.so depending upon the intermoplecular spacing of differrent objec ts, the resistance of that object varies. the points or other things have nothing to  do with the flow.
