From the below graph, the triangle ABC is formed by the intersection of 3 given lines.
Their vertices are A(0,2), B(3/2, 2) and C(0,-1)
 
Since the triangle is right angeled triangle right angle at A.
AB=3/2
AC=3
 
Area = ABxAC/2 = 3x3/2x2 = 9/4 units
