Actually meter bridge is based on the principle of wheetstone bridge the difference is that in meter bridge we can adjust the position of jockey to get the balance condition.
So if we cahnge the position of galvanometer and battery , the meter bridge may o.r may not be balanced because this time we will loose the luxry to move jockey because as we replace the battery with galvano meter the galvano meter have two fixed ends as battery had.
If we leave the condition of fixed end of galvanometer it will be same as theinitial condition and there is only positions change of battery and galvanometer. One can assume it easily for wheetstone bridge.
