(i) Here, Sum of the known digits of 3*8 = 3 + 8 = 11
Now, the number next to 11, which is divisible by 3 is 12.
Thus, if we replace the * by 1, the sum of digits will become 12 and the number becomes divisible by 3.
Hence, * is replace by 1 and the number is 318.
(ii) Here, Sum of the known digits of 3*8 = 3 + 8 = 11
Now, the number next to 11, which is divisible by 9 is 18.
Thus, if we replace the * by 7, the sum of digits will become 18 and the number becomes divisible by 9.
Hence, * is replace by 7 and the number is 378.
