Since the test tube dips to a height, and stays there implies it's weight is balanced by the buoyancy force.
Hence the weight will be propotional to the density and volume displaced, but since the cross sectional area is constatn it means propotional to height submersed.
h = (1000)(5cm)/1250 = 4 cm.
It'll dip to 4 cm.
