For inserting rational numbers add any rational number to 3 which is between 0 and 4. We can do say by adding s
ay 1/10 and 2/10 to 3 to get the rational numbers as 3.1 and 3.2.
To get the irrational numbers we observe that 32 =9 and 72 =49. Choose two numbers which are not perfect squares between 9 and 49. Say 15 and 30. Then we have the two required irrational numbers as (15) 0.5 and (30)0.5 .
