Rajat purchases the following items from a departmental store : a) one pair of shoes for 780, GST @ 5% b) food articles for 540, GST @ 12% c) clothes for 2200, GST @ 28% Calculate the total amount of bill.

Expert Answer
 
a. 5% of 780 = Rs. 39      ..... amount of bill = 780 + 39 = Rs. 819
b. 12% of 540 = Rs. 64.8  ..... amount of bill = 540 + 64.8 = Rs. 604.8
c. 28% of 2200 = Rs. 616  ..... amount of bill = 2200 + 616 = Rs. 2816
 
From a, b and c
 
Total amount of bill = 819 + 604.8 + 2816 = Rs. 4338.8
