Work Displacement

Work = ForcexDisplacement.

Force appears as the propotionality constant here.

Plot Work on y axis and Displacement on x axis. Scale Work and Displacement 1 cm = 1 unit.

The graph is straight line with slope = Force = 5 units, and passes through origin.

If we read on x axis for displacement as 2 units, then move up to the line and then horizontally read the Work, we find,

Work = 10 units.

This can also be verified as, Work = ForcexDisplacement = 5x2 = 10.

For 0 displacement work done is zero.
