The power P = V2/R
50=V2/R 1=> R1= V2 /50
Similarly, R 2 . = V 2 ./25
Dividing both the equations we get
R 1 / R 2 = 25/50 = 1/2 => 2R1 = R2
This implies that the bulb with power 25W has a higher resistance. The resistance is inversely proportional to the power because we are giving the same voltage to both .
