Due to surface tension, any liquid behaves to minimize it's free surface area.

Of the various possible shapes, sphere has the least surface area for a given volume.

Hence rainfall comes in the form of drops.

Again as the water molecules coalesce to from water, after sufficient amount of molecules coalesce the force of gravity pulls it away before any more molecules can come and join.

Plssss answer..... Assertion: Magnetic field lines never intersect each other. Reason: If they intersect, then at the point of intersection, the compass needle would point towards two directions, which is not possible.
