Expert Answer
1) The two resistances are connected in series. So, the combination resistance can be found by adding the two resistances. You will get Rs = 5 Ω
2) The current through the circuit can be found by using the formula, I = V/Rs = 10/5 = 2 A
3) As the two resistors are connected in series, the current through 3 Ω resistor also remains the same, i.e. 2 A.
