Dear Student,
Here is the solution:
Note that if bag A is selected and a red ball drawn and put into bag B, then bag B has 3 red and 5 whiteballs
The whole event consists of the following sub-events;
(i) Selecting Bag A and then drawing a red ball from Bag A and putting it into Bag B; ' (ii) Selecting Bag A, and then drawing a white ball from Bag A and putting it into Bag B; (Hi) Selecting Bag B, and then drawing a red ball from Bag B and putting it into Bag/4; (/V) Selecting Bag B, and then drawing a white ball from Bag B and putting it into Bag A. Pictorially the above can be depicted as follows:
