suppose the top of the smaller pole is A and the top of the bigger pole is B.
Then AB is the length of the wire.
Let AC be the line parallel to the ground thru' A..
So
angle BAC= 30 degrees.
BC=20-14=6m
So in triangle BAC,
sin 30=6/AB
So, AB=12
