Q.1: After 12 years Kanwar shall be 3 times as old as he was 4 years ago. find his present age?
Solution:
Let the present age of Kanwar be x years.
ACcording to the condition in the question, we get
x + 12 = 3(x - 4)
→ x + 12 = 3x - 12
→ 2x = 24
→ x = 12
Therefore the present age of Kanwar is 12 years.
