A mineral acid is an acid derived by a chemical reaction of inorganic minerals.
Examples of mineral acids are hydrochloric acid (HCl), nitric acid(HNO3), sulphuric acid (H2SO4), phosphoric acid (H3PO4)
These are not like organic acids like carboxylic acids like aceitc acid (CH3COOH) and formic acid (HCOOH).
