students A, B, C, D used the following values of angle of incidence and the distance between
feet of the two pins (fixed on the incident ray).
A) (30o, 45o, 60o) and 1cm
B) (30o, 45o, 60o) and 6cm
C) (20o, 50o, 80o) and 10cm
D) (20o, 50o, 80o) and 15cm

Expert Answer
B: The angle of incidence should lie between 30o and 60o. A separation of 6 cm between the pins would be sufficient to locate the direction of incident ray and reflected ray with greater accuracy.
