Expert Answer
use the formula R= p l / a , where R is the resistance ,p is resistivity , l is the lenght of the wire, A is the cross-sesctional area , when the wire is doubled the area will become twince and length will become half , resistivity will remain the same use the formula for both the cases and find the ratio and hence answer.
