PT is a tangent to the circle at T.
PAB is a secant such that PA = 4 cm, AB = 5 cm
So, PB = PA + AB = 4 cm + 5 cm = 9 cm
Using Tangent-secant property,
PT2 = PA . PB
PT2 = 4 X 9 = 36
PT = 6 cm
