Prove that the line segment joining the mid points of any two sides of a triangle is parallel to the third side.

In 
ABC, D and E are mid points of AB and AC respectively
to prove DE II BC.
as D is mid point of AB (1)
Similarly 
(2)
Hence from (1) and (2)
by converse of BPT
DE II BC. Hence proved.
