Expert Answer:

Relative density of iron = Weight in air/(Weight in air - weight in liquid) = 44.5/(44.5-39.5) = 8.9

The buoyance force or upthurst due to water = (44.5-39.5)xg  = 1xgxViron

Viron = 5 cm3

The buoyance force or upthurst due to oil = (44.5-4.3)xg  = ρoilxgxViron

ρoil = (44.5-4.3)/5 = 8.04 gm/cm3

ρoil = 8040 kg/m3
