Expert Answer
since the zeroes are negatives of each other,so let them be (say) a and -a.
comparing with the standard quadratic equation,
we get,
a=4, b=-8k c=-9
We know that sum of zeroes =-b/a=-(-8k)/4=8k/4=2k
But
the sum of zeroes = a+(-a)=0
Hence
2k=0
So,
k=0
