Dear Narinder,

Formula I = E/P, I - current, E - Elctromotive force, P - power

I = 220/500 - For heater 1 = 0.44Amps

I = 220/800 - For heater 2 = 0.275Amps

Resistance :

R = P/I2

R = 500/0.44 2 = 2582.65 ohm

R = 800/ 0.275 2 = 10578.51 ohm

Formula for energy consumption

(Wattage × Hours Used per Day ÷ 1000 = Daily Kilowatt-hour (kWh) consumption

(1 kilowatt (kW) = 1,000 Watts)

Heater 1 = 500 X 2 = 1000/1000 = 1 unit

Heater 2 = 800 X 2 = 1600/1000 = 1.6 unit

Both heaters together = 2.6 units.

Hope this helps.
