Let the first term of the A.P. is a  and   the common difference  be d.

formula for the nth term is

nth term = a+(n-1)d

so

 mth term=a+(m-1)d

Acc to question,

m(mth term)=n(nth term)

m(a+[m-1]d)=n(a+[n-1]d)

So,
