Expert Answer
1. Draw C(O,4) . Draw C' (O,6), take any point P on it.[ C(O, ,4) denotes circle C with centre O and radius 4 cm)]
2. Join OP. . Draw its perpendicular bisector. Let it meeet OP at M (mid point)
3. Draw Cicle C'' (M, OP)Meeting C(0, 4) at Q and R .
4. Join PQ and PR.
By meaurement , it will be 4.4 cm
By actual calculation PQ = [OP2 - OQ2] = [36 - 16] = root 20 = 2 root 5
