Make a project relating Mathematics to real life.
A simple project will be a water tank of known volume. And a incoming water through pipe and at known flow rate in lit/min. So simply using the formula tank volume/ flow rate, we can calculate the amount of time to fill the tank.
In another version, if there is a leak in the tank, we can use and set up differential equation to find the time required to empty the tank.
Another example project will be using tiny square pieces of paper of known area to paste onto the irregular area to find the area of irregular plane area.
