Volumetric Flow Rate = Volume/Time

=Cross sectional area of pipe x velocity of water

= (πD2/4)(v) ...........wherer v is the velocity of water through the pipe.

Time required to fill the Tank = Volume of the tank/Volumetric flow rate

= (πDc2L/4)/[(πD2/4)(v)]

= ((0.10 m/ 0.20 m)2(2 m)/(3000/3600 m/s)

= 3/5 seconds.
