Dear Studen,
Big shoulders can be moved easily by flood.
There are two reasons.
1)Because of the earth below the boulder corroded.
2) When a big boulder is completely submerged in flowing flood . Because of the sirst reason there is static friction overcomes, The remaining friction are rolling friction and kinetic friction which are less then static friction and the force of water can easily move the boulser.
