I am here to talk about why it is important to save electricity. Electricity - obtained from fossil fuels - non-renewable sources of energy - will be depleted one day - the more electricity used - the more these resources are consumed - fossil fuels cause pollution - many regions in India still do not have electricity-cities misuse electricity-unnecessary lightings during festival, election campaigns - nuclear energy waste a threat to environment - electricity can be conserved at home - turn off appliances when not needed - avoid artificial lights if natural light is available - insulate home properly - use energy saving light bulbs- Conserve electricity today so that the future generations can use it tomorrow
