Expert Answer

Let a, b, c, d, e be the numbers.

(a+b+c+d+e)/5 = 27

a+b+c+d+e = 27x5 ..........(1)

Let us exclude e, then

a+b+c+d= 25x4 ................(2)

Subtracting (2) from (1) gives,

e = 35.
