Since mechanical advantage is 1.6 and velocity ratio is 2 ,so there must be different angle of string with reference so the ratio of velocity will remain same for every cases but orientation of effort string can easily change mechanical effort value this happens because effect of friction change , the contact between string and pulley change so does the friction in real case.
