Mole fraction of a component =Number of moles of the component / Total number of moles of all the components
Strength of a solution is defined as the amount of solute in grams present in one litre of the solution.
mass / mass % =(Mass of the component in the solution *100) / Total mass of the solution
Mass by volume percentage (w/v): Mass of the solute dissolved in 100 mL of solution.
volume / volume % (v/v) =( Volume of the component * 100 ) / Total volume of solution
Molarity = Molality (m) is the number of moles of solute present in 1kg of solvent.
Molarity (M) is the number of moles of solute present in 1L of solution.
Vapur density = ½ × molar mass
Specific gravity = Relative density, or specific gravity, is the ratio of the density (mass of a unit volume) of a substance to the density of a given reference material. Specific gravity usually means relative density with respect to water.
