E2 = V2 = 220 V 
f =50 Hz 
Secondary full load current, I2 = 180 A
 
Number of secondary turns, N2 = 50 
 
a) Number of primary turns, 
 
N subscript 1 space end subscript equals space N subscript 2 space cross times space E subscript 1 over E subscript 2 space therefore space N subscript 1 space end subscript space equals 50 cross times space 3300 over 220 space equals space 750 space  
Thus, number of primary turns are 750 
 
b) The full load primary current, 
W e space k n o w comma space f u l l space l o a d space s e c o n d a r y space c u r r e n t space I subscript 2 space equals space 180 space A space space I subscript 1 space equals space ? I subscript 1 over I subscript 2 space equals space N subscript 2 over N subscript 1 space therefore I subscript 1 space space equals space N subscript 2 over N subscript 1 cross times I subscript 2 space equals space fraction numerator 50 cross times 180 over denominator 750 end fraction equals 9000 over 750 equals space 12 space A
Thus, the full load primary current, I1 = 12 A
