i) From diagram we can see that the current is going in clock wise direction as the current passes through circuit from poaitive to negative terminal.
By using clock face rule, we know that if current is in clockwise direction then the magnetic polarity of the loop facing us is south pole 
 
ii) The strength of the magnetic field of circular coil can be increased by 
 - increasing the magnitude of current flowing through the coil
- also the strength of magnetic field is directly proportional to number of turns in the coil. So, if the number of turns of coil is increased the strength of the magnetic field will also increase.
