Given circuit is redrawn and shown in right side of figure.
We see that bulbs of 6Ω and 3Ω are connected in parallel.
Hence equivalent resistance of this parallel combination is (3×6)/(3+6) = 2Ω .
Hence total resistance in the circuit is ( 4Ω + 2Ω ) = 6Ω . Current drawn from battery = 12 V/ 6Ω = 2 A
Current flowing through 6Ω resistance = ( 2 × 3 ) / (3+6) = 0.67 A
