Expert Answer:

Hi dear,

The main differences are amplitude and frequency.

The lion's roar has a higher amplitude (volume.)
The mosquito's buzz has a higher frequency (pitch.)

The mosquito's buzz is pretty much at a constant frequency while the lion's roar may contain several different frequencies.

Hope this helps.
