Expert Answer
Angle subtended by image can not be 30° ( very wide image ) .
It is assumed angle subtended by sun's image at centre of concave mirror is 30' ( 0.5 °)
Hence from triangle OAC, ( h/100 ) = tan 15' = tan(0.25°) = 4.36 × 10-3
Hence h = 4.36 × 10-3 ×100 = 0.436 cm
hence image size = 2 h = 0.872 cm
