Expert Answer
Energy from the sea could be utilized in three ways
1. Tidal Energy: The potential Energy of the tides can used to generate electrical Energy.
2. Wave Energy: It refers to the ocean surface waves and the enrgy in them could be captured to do useful work including desalination , pumping of waters in the reservoirs etc
3. Ocean thermal Energy: The difference in the temperature at the surface of the sea/oceans and the deeper sections could be utilized resourcefully.
