Energy given by heater = 1.5 kW x time = 1500 W x time  = 1500 J/s x time = 1500 J/s x 30 min
= 1500 J/s x 900 s = 135 x 104 J
The same amount of heat is taken up by water, mCpΔT = 10 kg x 4200 J/kg C x ΔT =  135 x 104 J
ΔT = 32.14 C.
