If voltage and current are in phase, capacitive impedence XC equals inductive impedence XL .
i.e., Lω = 1/( Cω ) or C = 1 / ( L ω2 ) = 1 / ( 40 × 10-3 × 4π2 × 602 ) = 176 μf
RMS Voltage across Resistance = 110 V , because voltages across capacitance and inductance are out of phase by 180°
and they cancel each other .
RMS current shown by ammeter = 110 V / 220 Ω = 0.5 A
