  • It consists of loose connective tissue cells and lobules of fat cells.
  • It consists of multiple layers of flattened cells that overlay a basal layer composed of columnar cells.


Differences between adrenaline and nor-adrenaline based on function:

Adrenaline

Nor-adrenaline
  • It has more wide-ranging effect.It is released only during stress.
  • It works mainly on alpha receptors to increase and maintain blood pressure. It is continuously released nto circulation at low levels.
