Dear student,
2000/220 = 9 amps.
But if the line voltage varies up to 230 or 240 volts, that will go up to nearly 10 amps.
Now, a 10 amp fuse will not help.
Its better to use a 15 amp fuse, and use wire that is rated at that current.
