The given figure shows the process of cytokinesis in plant cells.
In plant cells, a rigid cell wall is present. Therefore, it cannot undergo cytokinesis by the invaginating cleavage furrow. Hence, in plant cells, cytokinesis is accomplished by the formation of cell plate in the centre of the parent cell. It represents middle lamella between the walls of two daughter cells. The cell plate is formed by the vesicles of Golgi and endoplasmic reticulum. These first line up on the equator and then fuse to form a complete cell wall.
So, the correct answer is option C.
