Yes.

The magnetic field pattern due to a circular coil & a solenoid is similar to the field represenation that due to bar magnet.

A current carrying coil is compared to a small magnetic dipole.

If the coil facing u has current flowing in anti-clockwise direction, then that face of the coil will correspond to the north pole. The field lines will appear to emerge out, just as in North pole of a bar magnet.

If the coil facing u has current flowing in clockwise direction, then that face of the coil will correspond to the south pole. The field lines will appear to go into the coil, just as in south pole of teh bar magnet.
