1. It could not assign postion to hydrogen atom
It could not assign positin to noble gases.
All elements were not arranged in increasing order of atomic weights.
2. In some sections of the periodic table, the horizontal trends of the characteristics of elements are more significant than the vertical trends. This holds true, particularly, for lanthanoids and actinoids (f-block) and transition elements (d-block).
