Expert Answer
There can be two reasons for it:
1. since we are using two fingers instead of one, now we have a more area of contact and thus lesser pressure on the fingers as pressure is inversely proportional to area.
2. Since while using a single finger to open a pen's cap, we apply force at one end. So while doing it, the other end acts like a fulcrum and the cap tries to turn around the fulcrum instead of opening. Thus the cap gets stuck.
